  1. I got rejected today via Email but it doesn't say anything on my wolverine site. I applied to the Psychology Neuroscience and Behavior Program.
  2. Sounds good! My name is Logan Fiorella (lfiorella@ist.ucf.edu).

  3. Do you have a facebook? We can keep in touch there! My name is Sarine Janetsian or sarine.janetsian.24@csun.edu

  4. University of Vermont, IUPUI, and UCSB are my top choices. The first two more for the specific programs they offer along with the classes, but UCSB has the perfect POI, plus its in CA. It was definitely one of the most time consuming applications!
  5. Some schools give a full ride + additional monthly stipends. SB and its surrounding areas are extremely expensive, so I hope they give us a good amount. I do know, however, that they have an area for graduate housing. I applied to many many places, even some MA programs just in case I didn't get into any PhD programs. The PhD programs are UCSB, UCSD, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Indiana University-Bloomington, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, LSU, University of South Florida, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign,University of Vermont, and University of Missouri-Columbia. So far I had an initial interview with IUPUI and got a call from the POI from Missouri and I called him back three times but he never responded. :/ I see you got into another school. Great Job! Is UCSB one of your top choices?
  6. I am from Los Angeles. I went to Cal State Northridge for 3 years then finished up my last year at LSU with the national student exchange program. Santa Barbara is very pretty! Do you have any info about financial-aid? Stipends?
  7. I applied to the Neuroscience and Behavior concentration. It sure seems like it is more of an orientation than anything! The professor said that this weekend is for us to see if we actually like the school and program or to see if we'd rather work with another professor than the one we mentioned. He also told me that about 20 prospective students are invited. UCSB is a very good program from what I've heard. Where are you from?
  8. Anyone else invited to the Recruitment weekend for Psychology? Is this more of an orientation or interview?
