Sounds like you have a very strong resume. I e-mailed the department today so I hope I can find something out soon. It looks like a great school but it sounds like the competitions is pretty tough this year. Thanks for your help and hopefully some people turn down offers so you can get some funding!

I'm also waiting to hear from Colorado State. Hopefully we will hear something soon because I have to decisions for other schools. Have you called the department lately?

Where did you see that Colorado State wants you to have a masters first? Their website says, "A course of study leading to the PhD degree can be designed either for the student who has completed the MS degree or for the student who has completed the bachelor's degree." If what you're saying is true I need to change my application but I've read through their department information many times and I didn't see this requirement!

I hope that means we are lucky! I see people have been accepted, rejected, and wait-listed from Minnesota already and I haven't heard anything. Oh well, looks like I will have to wait some more.
