Anyone receive any acceptances today?
-
-
Last year rejections came out a week after acceptances. De...ja...vu.

Arrrggghhh!!! This grad school thing can be such a roller coaster. I used to love roller coasters.

Adding more posts to create suspense.

The SSRC IDRF (International Dissertation Research Fellowship) applicants received news today. That is . . . rejections arrived in the mail. Their deadline was November 4. Ours was October 15. Maybe we'll be hearing soon too?

Tic . . . tock . . . tic . . . tock.

Right. I applied last year (and tried to cram my topic into one of the five research fields), and failed. Interesting to see this year's application seemingly wide open.
-
I didn't see any timeline regarding when awards would be announced. There . . . there's something to obsess about.
-
Deadline was last October . . . just making a space for people to obsess while waiting for the results. Please comment if you hear anything, or know anything - especially if it's an unfounded rumor. Good luck to all.

Anyone know how I would go about getting my reviews? I'm not sure if I checked a box that reserved that right . . .

Rejected from Autochthony. Best of luck to all.
-
Did they say how many applicants/awards?
-
Oh shoot. Still waiting on Autochthony. *heart murmurs* *or maybe it's just the coffee*

This is like being at Woodstock!

This thread is going to crash when the announcements are made. Just sayin', it happened last time.

Congratulations greenumbrella! When one is expecting, things like fellowships seem much less important. Having little ones on the way puts everything in perspective, doesn't it?
-
Anyone heard about "Making the Biotech Body"? It's good to know when to stop expecting!
-
-
So no early requests for official transcripts this year I guess . . .
-
Congrats to those who won an award!!!
-
Come on Autochthony!!!

Got the formal rejection email. 2 for 2. Don't fret too much people . . . rejections are a guaranteed part of the life we've asked for.
