Just checked the website and it says a decision is still pending...not sure how to take it.

Accepted to SLU Phd (medieval) but on waitlist for funding. Without funding I don't see how I can afford it.

I was accepted to the SLU PhD program (medieval) but I am on the waitlist for funding. I was advised funding "is still possible but not probable." This is extremely disappointing. The program is a great fit, the professor I want to work with agrees. However, I simply cannot afford to move my family without funding nor can I add to the financial burden of my current school loans. I would like to hold out hope but at this point I am assuming I will not go in the fall and now I am trying to figure out what I am going to do since it looks like this road has come to a dead end.

Emailed Western Michigan today to find out when the will send out decisions and I received a response back that I did not get into the program. They will send out official notification next week. FYI...Cornell advised that the final admissions meeting for their Medieval Studies program is the first week of March. Unfortunately, with the way things are going so far I am not holding out much hope. I guess anything is possible though. Congrats to everyone that has made it into a program.

FYI...checked Wisconsin this morning and found out I was "declined". Two rejects so far and no accepts, so freaking dejected right now.

I see Wisconsin is up on the board but I guess it is the one from January. Has anyone else heard anything from them?

I see that Wisconsin has sent out a number of postal notifications across the board. I keep checking the website but no updates there. Now I am going to have to start stalking the postman too.
