Oh I know right!?haha I spent about 3 days going...???? about it and had to just start writting down randomness until I got a few justifyable concrete concepts. Now whether I'll remember any of it.....ya. .

I would think that they would think saying you've only applied to one school would be a blatant lie....my opinion. If they ask address it as briefly as possible.

Had to laugh at this, not meanly I swear but my sisters bestfriend is on an admissions team at a top 10 (to keep it private) and he'd always tell us the cruelest stories. It's like you're only holding people's hopes and dreams in your hands...!! Sigh.

Accepted ASU for ceramics...rejected for painting. Subjective much????? My painting by far is stronger. I give up trying to figure this "system" out..... Sigh-No where near my first choice pick but nice to have an offer...March please come sooner!!!

Hi I didn't apply to Davis but I can offer some insight, as I know the Cali UC system really well. That's all pretty standard for admittance....And it does have as someone mentioned a bit of a "dumpy" rep in the Cali art scene but not horrible. It's a great option if you don't get into any of the other UC's for sure! Another bit of friendly advice would be to consider how you feel about loans and to know what you'd like to come out of your program with in terms of debt. My absolute goal is to have no more than 5,000 in debt for unforeseen costs at the end of it all if any. Hope this helped a bit and if they "want you bad".....I'd contact previous students and get insight into what they got offered because um surely it could be a bit more.....?...! Good luck!

All of my applications required to either send a CD or use slideroom and then had the additional option to also put a URL to your work....so that's a bit strange? I double checked my applications like crazy to make sure I was doing everything right so that's what I remember. I would DEF. call them quickly and either explain your mistake and/or to get more information. That's my friendly advice! Ah, I know I would be freaking too...GOOD LUCK!!!!!

ASU MFA rejection today via email. This was my "backup" school as one of the professors came to an exhibit of mine and told me I should apply. Maybe that's why it stings so much? Now I'm officially going to cry and I've got 7 more to go....

I know exactly what you mean!!! I'm the only "artsy" one in my group of friends too. haha
