Totally your call!! But if a friend or my sister asked I'd def say yes. Just because thoughtful appreciation goes a long way, especially if you end up having to use the same recommenders next year
I agree that Professors are use to it and expect it and that it is very much in the job description. I warned all of my recommenders before hand to expect at least 8 schools and sent them all hand written Thank Yous, offering my own student recommendation should they ever need it. Anywho I wouldn't worry about overwhelming them at all!
Also I agree that Bard has a fantastic Program!Good luck!!!
I did my undergraduate in Chicago and have been talking to all my friends back there. It's a nightmare!!!!! I'm not expecting an notices this week. Crossing my fingers for next week. I second the ugh. haha. BLAH
Does anyone know what the earliest USC or UCSD or any other Uni. contacts it's finalists and or picks for MFA? Just curious if anyone has any ideas on what the earliest schools send out for interviews ect. after reading about Tyler School of art. I didn't apply but was just curious is that because of an earlier deadline and therefore having more time to know there picks or just because of the School itself. All of my school deadlines where either Jan 15th or Feb. 1st.
Anyone else checking gmail every 5 seconds? It's going to be a long couple of months...
Just friendly advice, if it were me I'd immediately contact the administrator. They usually have an email you can find and email them about your mistake, it's better than feeling helpless. Get proactive
Hi All!
I completely feel what everyone is saying---it's all so subjective+a bit of luck. I applied to 8 Universities and am trying to think positive and just keep the faith Heh.
