I'm headed to Barcelona to research in the archives. I'm working on a PhD in medieval history.

First post-- Spain, full grant, accepted.

Hey guys, I didn't make it to the next round, but my friend did, for Italy. Neither of us received any sort of email presumably because our school still communicates mainly through strings of yarn attached to soup cans. So confirm for me-- ALL second-round applicants received some sort of PDF with details, and ALL are supposed to send transcripts somewhere? Where are they supposed to send them to? Is there any way someone could post or forward the pdf file to me? I (and my friend) appreciate the help, our program adviser is useless here, and like I said, the email system sucks.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get any feedback on a rejected application? Where can I find information on the US selection committee or the regional director?

well my advisor returned my email with bad news, I didn't get recommended. I still dunno why I didn't get an official email. This is crappy. My application was badass too, on piracy in the medieval Mediterranean; I wonder if they're de-emphasizing historical topics?

Hey guys, first time post here. I've applied for the full grant to Spain to research on medieval history in Barcelona, but I haven't received the email at all. I have the older emails saying my application was completed, but I haven't gotten the latest one, which apparently went out over a week ago. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong? I've checked the spam folders quarantine lists, and haven't come up with anything. What address sent you guys the email?
