I just received my Yale rejection, too. I knew it was coming, but it still stings! Janesays-- I heard from Ohio University on March 7th. I received a phone call from the head of the program telling me that they had made acceptance offers already (4), and that they were putting together their short list of 8 people. I was lucky enough to get on the short list, but I have not heard anything else since then. You're right--the program sounds really awesome. I very much hope I get to move up off the short list, but I can't see all four people turning down their acceptances. We shall see... Sigh.

Janesays, which Ohio are you talking about? Ohio State or Ohio University?

Sam757, was your interview a phone interview last year, or did you have to travel?

Ok, so has anyone heard from Yale for an interview yet? And what's the deal with Indiana? Are they done?

Heckleher: Yeah, I figured we would hear at some point this week. I wonder if we would be expected to travel or if we would do phone interviews? I am hoping to receive an interview, but I am also being realistic. I mean, it's Yale. Sigh. Besides NYU and Brooklyn, did you apply anywhere else?

MirandaTragedy and Janesays, When did you hear about your phone interviews for IU? Did they call or email you? Congrats. Also, has anyone been asked for an interview at Yale yet?

I just received an email informing me I was accepted into the MFA in Playwriting Program at Texas Tech University! No word on funding yet, but I am crossing my fingers! 11 more schools to go!

What does an interviewee ususally wear for a playwriting interview anyway?

Has anyone contacted East Tennessee State University about when they will be sending out decisions?

Do you think the email was sent to all applicants - just in segments so that each list of names could fit in each email??
