Congratulations!! Do you know who your advisor is going to be?

I applied for the Urban Ed PhD and about three weeks ago I received an email guiding me to a website to log in and get my rejection letter. This weekend I also received the same letter in the mail. Two punches to the gut rather than one.

I heard about PLI in person. I am not sure about TEP but I think it might be sometime in April. I was in TEP from 2004-2006 and don't remember when I heard but I think i got a letter in the mail. Good luck!

Which credential? Teaching or admin? Are you talking about TEP or PLI? I heard back from the PLI program last week.

What masters program did you apply for?

I got an email with a link to log in to see the department's decision. I logged it and there was a letter on UCLA letterhead that I could print if I wanted to. I am definately taking the GRE again since I think that was the weakest part of my application.

I think I will reapply next year. I am going to call the department and see if they can tell me anything about my app that I can improve for next year. It can't hurt to ask.

I just got my letter via email. Rejected.

I haven't heard yet either and have also come to terms with the fact that I probably didn't get in. That'll be 3 rejections out of 3 apps. I will try again next year.
