I feel a bit crazy, too. Waiting to hear from 7 more schools ... Also, can those who get in not post things like "WAHOOOOO" in the notes? We know you're happy, and we'd be happy, too - but no need to gloat.

My commiserations to the posters. I think Brown does have an MA program. Maybe a terminal one in addition to the one en route to the PhD? Here's hoping we hear soon!

Hi! I'll claim it. I posted on the forum a week or so ago about my call about acceptance and a fellowship, but didn't post on the results page before today because I didn't yet have an official acceptance. But I got an email in the middle of the night last night that told me to check my status online. I assumed that others would have gotten a similar email (because it seemed like a form email), but now I'm guessing that's not the case. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

I also applied to CUNY and have not heard anything. Is anyone else in this position? I'm guessing they admit in waves, but it'd still be nice to know something.

Hello! I just wanted to chime in and say that UMD does not only notify by email. I was accepted via phone in January as a candidate for a fellowship. (Other than UMD, I applied to top-20 schools, but I will be absolutely delighted to go to UMD. My undergrad GPA is not as strong as I'd like, and neither is my GRE subject score, but my other stats are on the higher end.) From my visit to the school, my best guess is that they are letting people know one-by-one or in small waves. They are cutting their program in half this year. That's all to say, if you haven't heard, don't worry!
