I spoke with the Graduate coordinator today on the phone, and she told me that they are still making decisions, and she expect to have all decisions out by later later this week or early next week. I suspect I may be on a pseudo wait list while they await the responses from those who went to the visit weekend.

besm thanks for the input, and fiona, it is glad to know there is another. I will probably call/email this week or next, but if you hear anything first let me know.

Is anybody else still waiting to hear from Northwestern? I know they did mass rejections via their website early in February, and they also accepted a few people, but I still haven't heard anything, and my online application still has no decision. Is anybody else in a similar situation? Is this some sort of informal waiting list?

My understanding from friends currently in the department is that things are going slower than usual, and as of last Friday they weren't ready with decisions.

Totally know how this feels. It has been especially disconcerting for me with Northwestern, with the slough of rejections last weekend and the few acceptances during the week. Oh well. I can say that I have heard for sure that UChicago hasn't made final decisions yet, but they should be coming in the next few weeks.

Congratulations to you! I still have no update either way on the admissions site, very frustrating.

I checked their website and haven't received a rejection....yet. Wonder what that means.
