We should create a Facebook group for the Fulbright Hays victims of 2011 and invite Theresa to join so that she can understand how people feel.

She said "will be", I got the impression that they haven't sent them out yet.

Theresa Granza just wrote me that the notifications will be sent out by regular mail. No need to wait for an email from them.

I totally agree with you. It is very disappointing.

Maybe it is because of the region you applied for. Fulbright Hays had allocated fellowships for certain regions like Near East, Africa etc. If they had a lot of applications for the same region, it might be more competitive.

Today I contacted the iie office regarding the fellowship notifications and they said that they will notify students early next week latest. Fingers crossed!

I got my reviewers comments as well,, 99-93. I got this message from my fulbright coordinator "I have received a message from the US Student Programs IIE about possible funding for some of our Fulbright Hays applicants. Your name was on a list of students who may be considered for this opportunity. "

got rejected as well.

Has anyone heard anything back from Fulbright Hays yet?

I applied for it too. As far as I know, we will hear from them in March. I haven't heard anything back so far.

How do you know that you did not make the final round for the ssrc? as far as I know, they should notify us in April.
