  1. Alright, great! Thank you for the info. I'm really nervous about going, I guess that's because it's such an important decision...and because meeting one-on-one is more intense than meeting faculty and students in a group!
  2. If someone has already posted about this, feel free to take this down or redirect it! I have a slight dilemma, I'm sure a few others have the same issue as well. At least two of my Admitted Student Day's are on the same day, and in different states. I've already RSVPed to one, should I mention that when arranging a visit with my other school or not? I'm torn. I want to let them know that I am evaluating another institution, but I'm not sure that is the best plan. Any help would be great! Thank you!
  3. Thanks! I've only received my official letter of admission from the GIAC, that one didn't mention anything about funding. My department letter is yet to be received, I'm not sure if they'll email it directly, snail mail it, or if it will be available on the portal. I am assuming that funding information will come through them, but I'm not sure! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
  4. Congrats to you as well! Thank you for the reassurance!
  5. I have a quick question for those who have also been admitted to USC. I received my official admissions letter from the graduate school, and it indicates that I will also receive another letter from the program (Price School of Public Policy). From what I gather, this letter will include information regarding any financial awards I may receive. Is that a correct assumption? Second question, when did others receive their department acceptance letters? Thanks so much for the help!
  6. When I was getting my letters of rec, my department chair told me something that has kept my worries about Berkeley at bay. He told me that they the first you have to apply to and the last to let you know if you got in. Obviously, he is more eloquent with his words but you get the gist of it. I think it does it just because its Berkeley. Oh and funding issues may be delaying notifications...that whole California is broke thing.
