  1. I saw that...it looks pretty interesting! I'm interested in dysphagia as well as autism..so who knows what I'll end up focusing on.
  2. I don't blame you..both are really good schools. I guess for you it comes down to funding. What's your main focus of study?
  3. I saw that on the website as well. Did you get funding at U of M? I'd take anything at this point, money wise.
  4. Glad we both agree on that haha I'll most likely accept anyways.
  5. Just got accepted to the University of Tennessee..no word on funding yet.
  6. Did anyone here apply to University of Kentucky? If so, have you heard anything from them in a while?
  7. I see you're applying to WKU as well...have you heard anything from them lately?
  8. Mine seemed a tad more formal than that. We discussed goals and objectives as far as what I wanted out of the program, living and working in Knoxville, my areas of interest, strengths/weaknesses and so on. She stated that she would run the application up to be processed and then signed by whoever had to sign it. I called again to check on the status a few days later and they said it was being mailed out this coming week. Is this interview done for ALL prospective students? I've heard other programs only interview admitted students just so the student can get a feel about the program and faculty.
  9. 3.2 undergrad 3.5 postbacc 1010 (not happy about this, either) A few years working with autistic children in various settings as well as residential facilities for abused/neglected teenagers and children. Shadowing experience in various settings and a little work in Aud labs throughout the last few months.
  10. I couldn't put it better myself. This is the last thing I would ever want to do again. Nothing is uniform and nothing is easy.
