yeah my online application status thing says "decision pending" too-- I guess their online status check is slacking!

If you got an invite from Dr. Faulkner, that means you've been accepted to the program. Happened to me too! I checked my mailbox after i got that email-- and found my acceptance package! So your's should be in the mail too-- the letter was dated march 10th and posted the very next day!

does anyone know when UMD's open house/ accepted student day is?

i haven't heard back from them either!!!!! Hopefully they'll get back to the rest of us this week? gaah I just need to know already!

I applied to the Master of public policy program. I'm mostly interested in environmental policy and Bloustein has a pretty good environmental policy research center. One of my professors got her doctorate from Bloustein-- she told me that their faculty/facilities were pretty good (although finding an internship/part time job could be a challenge because of the location). I guess we'll find out more during their open house-- are you planning to go?

got an acceptance email from them today-- they also changed my online application status. They'll be making financial aid decisions in the next few weeks and will notify recipients via email.

Their letter said that they'll be making fellowship decisions in March-- early- mid march (and they continue making decisions after their April 16 deadline). The letter also says that we'll be notified via email about fellowships!
