I got into UCLA for MSW a couple weeks ago..it's between USC and UCLA for me. I'm not sure where to go... I heard by email from UCLA.

Hmm, I can't imagine that more expensive schools have better internship opportunities. I spoke to a USC (private $$) MSW grad who said her internship site had UCLA (public) students....I think the extra cost is basically to run the university and afford professors...etc.. State schools get tax money and private have to raise the money themselves.

I got an email today directing me to website to find out that I was accepted at UCLA!! Pretty exciting, I'm now between USC or UCLA???

I applied pretty early, like late nov/dec. I guess we won't find out 100% what our reward is until July... This makes it especially hard to make a decision if you don't know how much your education will be funded. Hmmmm.....

I just got my acceptance letter to USC MSW!!

I know, waiting is terrible and exhausting...I would def. fill out a FASFA (you can get grants, loans, and scholarships)...

Yep, I applied to USC....I haven't heard back. Although I did receive a notification that my app was in a week ago (applied back in December) and I also was asked to fill out a supplementary financial aid form online (this was after I completed my FASFA)... I wonder when we will hear back??

Hi Happyroman, I am applying to UCLA and USC too...I haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully soon! I also received an email today that I have been waitlisted at Berkeley.....ahh stuck in limbo.
