  1. Yes, I received my letter in Toronto as well! I biked home on my lunch break and everything. Totally worth it.
  2. I know several people who have experienced this. I think the answer is simple, really: SSHRC applications are generally due after OGS applications, and people tend to do a better job on the second.
  3. U of T-ers: SGS sent on the information to departments yesterday. The graduate secretary of my department told me that since SGS usually waits until after letters officially go out, departments don't usually bother contacting successful applicants. So call your departments! I just found out I was successful in my application! YAY NOT BEING COMPLETELY BROKE!!!
  4. Fingers crossed we'll hear something by the weekend!
  5. Has anyone heard anything from U of T? I can't get through to SGS. Ahh!
  6. For those of you who have heard back--which universities do you attend?
  7. I just got a phone call from OGS because I indicated the wrong year for my end of study (September 2011 instead of September 2012). Oops! I've faxed them the update, but that must mean that they're going through my file now--I'm code 100 (Classics/Medieval Studies). Luckily I'm going out of province anyway. Now let's hope I didn't make the same mistake on my SSHRC application!
  8. Agreed! I can't sleep at night.
  9. Have any MA applicants heard anything yet?
  10. I forgot my password and now am locked out of the OSAP website for 24 hours...ahhh!!! At least I'm going out of province. I'm really just checking to see if I have to decline.
