I am in a similar situation and received an identical offer from Stanford. I had heard from others who had gone through similar programs that funding is limited and I should expect something in the neighborhood of what you received. That being said, I received a much more generous offer from Brown so I am now reassessing things. It is a difficult position because receiving the offer from Brown has totally changed my expectations in terms of funding. I am waiting to hear from one more school, and if I am admitted and offered funding I think that should give me a better idea of what is the norm. Although as I mentioned earlier, others have told me offers similar to yours are what is to be expected.
