I got word today that im interviewing for zuck early next week. no clue how many finalists there are in total or when decisions will be out, but april 1 is certainly possible given the time frame and likely low number of finalists. I applied for dubin as well but have not received any word from them. BUT ive heard in the grapevine that they are doing interviews early next week as well...

I got word today that im interviewing for zuck. Not sure how many finalists there are either, but i would imagine not more than 3-4x number of fellows (just based on my own personal experience of applying for fellowships in the past). HKS had 6 last year, so maybe 15-25 finalists. no idea though. i am in med school doing an mpp next year. I had applied for dubin as well but have not received any word from them but i heard in the grapevine that they are doing interviews on tuesday...

Other fellowships "may" require interviews, ie Dubin and Zuckerman. There hasn't been any mention on this forum of people getting interview or finalist notifications...so who knows. I would imagine that someone who gets the Dubin will not also get the Belfer grant. I figure it will be all or nothing April 1

Update: so a friend of mine applying to hsph was accepted to the school about a week ago and then found out on Fri that he received the Zuck fellowship. he had an in person interview for the fellowship with a HSPH faculty member. Each school seems to do the Zuck application separately or has a certain number of allocated spots, ie his finding out he got Zuckerman shouldn't necessarily have any bearing, I think, on the HKS "spots." I think end of March or early April timeline is a pretty reasonable timeframe for HKS then... Do you have any solid info by which to think they aren't doing phone interviews or is this just a guess?

Anyone heard anything regarding phone interviews/announcement timelines for the Zuckerman fellowship?

Are you asking re Harvard Public Health, Kennedy, or Education? A friend of mine applying HSPH found out he was accepted last week and then got the news that he received the Zuck on Friday. I have no idea how the timeline is different for Kennedy or Education, or if they are doing/will do interviews...when I asked the office coordinator, she told me that phone interviews would be done for Kennedy Zuck once admission decisions were out...at least that is the word...
