I'm not going to be able to make it because of the money issue. If nothing good comes out for the remaining schools I guess I'll just give up and start looking for a job. It's sad to have a broken dream, but this is the reality that I have to live with. sigh.
Could anybody kindly tell me how many slots does NYU have for its Politics Ph.D program each year? Up to now I've seen 11 claims of acceptance, all posted on Feb 17...I was wondering if it is possible that they'll do a second round early this month....

seems that both Columbia Univ. and NYU have done with PhD admissions. I am definitely rejected. Now I hope the pain ends sooner.
Got an AD from Boston University but won't be able to go without funding. still waiting for NYU, Columbia University and Washington University in St. Louis. It's painful.
