  1. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Pumpkin, do you also post on T(op)L(aw)S(chools)?
  2. Somebody posted an acceptance on Feb. 25 via phone. The graduate coordinator told the student "that they are still making decisions and that she will mail (post) and email letters next week." We shall see...
  3. Well, it looks like Yale Anthro decisions are available.
  4. Below is the link to the application status check for UT-Austin. I don't know if the anthro decisions have been made, but the history decisions were available. I got dinged. http://www.utexas.edu/ogs/admissions/status.html
  5. People have posted rejections (and a handful of acceptances) from both UM anthro and UM history, but not word on the joint program yet.
  6. Rejection letters from both Chicago and Harvard via post.
  7. Are there any applicants to Michigan's Anthro & History doctoral program browsing the forums? It is a small, specialized program that does not attract as many applicants as straight anthro or history, but I am curious if there is anyone else interested in this program out there in internets land.
  8. I am interested in Yale because a few of the faculty share my research interests. That is the primary attraction. I know very little about the program in general. When do we expect to hear from Yale? Any action?
  9. Yes, I am waiting for both Yale and Harvard. But, I am in the sociocultural group. If I remember correctly, both programs had January deadlines. Does anyone know when they usually notify? Has anyone heard anything?
  10. Thanks for your soothing words.
  11. I am also waiting to hear from Chicago. Have folks received official letters from Chicago? Or, have they been notified by potential advisers via email?
  12. Good luck to all the Columbia Anthro applicants. Although I am not in the anthro department, I am a current Columbia grad student (and applicant). I can tell you that it is an exciting place to be right now. Over the past decade, they have amassed a fine group of scholars under the direction of Nick Dirks. From my understanding, things were pretty dismal in the early nineties. What are your sub-fields/areas of interest?
