  1. I found out I got in today! I was actually out and about and got the email on my iPhone saying my admissions decision was ready - I RACED home immediately to log in and check and lo and behold, there it was I'm in the Ed.M. for Education Policy and Management. I actually think my decision was there yesterday but I didn't scroll down on the website far enough to see it - I'm kicking myself now, haha. Congrats to everyone! Looks like I need to book a flight out there at the end of March now...
  2. so exciting you were admitted! now i am super anxious waiting to find out... question though: is the prematriculation website the same thing as the original application website? that's the only online portal i know of. please share if there is something different i should be looking at!
  3. This is awful!!! I think reading that March 18th is/might be the date makes me feel worse! I applied to the PhD program - I am feeling like I have about a 2% chance of getting in, but here's hoping.
  4. congrats to those who have heard! i applied in the department of organization and leadership - i applied for an EdM in Politics and Education. i haven't heard anything yet. for those of you that have heard, how did you know a decision was posted? did you get an email/letter? when i check in the applyweb thing, it just says "congratulations! your application has been successfully submitted." thanks!
  5. I applied for the EdM in EPM too. I haven't heard yet... so anxious! Stats for me: Undergrad: Colgate University, BA '08 Major: History Overall GPA: 3.53 Last 2 Years: 3.7 GRE: V: 650; Q: 700; AWA: 6. Main Pertinent Work Experience: 1.5 yrs as Community Organizer for Stand for Children, a nonprofit public education advocacy organization. We organize parents, teachers and community members to improve public education at the local and state levels; gained excellent grounding in many areas of policy as well as how policy is made locally and legislatively. Also worked on legislative and school board campaigns. I have no idea about my chances! I've had really good discussions with the Asst Dean of Admissions (he was a Colgate alum that my friend introduced me to) and several alums of the program, but really no idea at all.
