I got accepted for the MA anthro program, with only 1/3 funding though.. which is basically a rejection for me. As an international student, I don't see how I can cover the rest of the tuition and afford to live in NYC for a year.

i'm waitlisted at two of my top schools [uSC and McGill]. i am also admitted at two other programs, but waiting for funding decisions. i think i've gone a little crazy lately, having in mind i have some deadlines at work and moving to another city for a short term research and all that. this uncertainty is going to have a permanent effect on me. ok at least i feel better after getting it out of me.

I knew that there are nice people out there Congrats on being accepted, and I think you made the right decision by rejecting them!

No news is bad news, right? I still haven't heard from them; even though I emailed them. Anyone else still waiting for a decision? Anyone accepted?

I am wait-listed (2nd waiting list, accepted at another two where I have to wait on funding; rejected from UCB and Cornell so far; expecting bad news from NYU and having couple of more anthro apps). Having in mind how chaotic my application process was with all those supplementary forms, I'm quite surprised I made it this far. They told me the ranking was "confidential", but that the I am waitlisted for a funded position. Anyone applied there? Any results? Anyone rejecting their offer? BTW. I hate their Minerva system. Can't access it and the tech support won't help.

I am international applicant, from a crappy semi-failed post-communist European country. I got admitted at two programs for now (Northeastern and U Miami), but waiting for funding allocation at the both. I am wait-listed at another two (USC and McGill). Have been rejected by couple of top schools (UC Berkeley and Cornell). I am expecting a couple of more decisions soon. And I'm getting quite anxious now with all this waiting ahead.
