  1. Thanks for the reply. I saw that the ENMU 2nd bachelor's degree contains 14 courses (38 credit hours) in the field of Communication Disorder. I wonder whether they are all the courses I need to take in order to receive the 2nd bachelor's degree? Or, does the 2nd bachelor's degree also require any other courses?
  2. I'd also like to know. Anyone has any ideas?
  3. Hey guys, I'm selecting between the online post-bac programs of New Paltz and ENMU, and would like to hear your thoughts. I live in NY and New Paltz is only 20 minutes away, I will definitely apply New Paltz for grad school even if I study post-bac elsewhere. However, some courses, such as Aural Rehabilitation and Articulation Disorder, are not offered by the New Paltz online program, and these courses are prerequisites of many other schools. I recently found that ENMU offers more leveling courses online, and it could even lead to a 2nd bachelor degree. Courses not offered by New Paltz are offered by ENMU, and their costs are also almost the same. However, I did some research here and many people have negative opinions toward ENMU, saying their online professors are not very attentive and responsive, and ENMU doesn't have many lecture recordings but only reading materials. I'm concerned whether I would be able to get a strong recommendation from an ENMU online professor in the future after I attend the program. I know many people speak highly of USU, but I don't like its proctored testing method, and I'm deciding between New Paltz and ENMU. Any thoughts guys? I really appreciate!
  4. I also applied to Amherst, but still have no information from them. Is anyone who also hear nothing from Amherst like me?
  5. And have they told you the date of the campus visit for admitted students?
  6. Thanks GradHappy. May I know your subfield? And is there any specification about the funding in your offer letter? Are they fellowship or TA, RA?
  7. Has anyone here received funding from Uconn? Please claim, thank you!
  8. I've heard no news yet. And I actually have no idea that I'm on the waitilist for funding, since I haven't heard anyone claim they are granted funding yet. So would you like to let me know more about the waitlist things?
  9. if you want to stay in the US, you should look for a job in the country after earning the MA, rather than applying for a phd program.
  10. Hi all, I've been accepted by UCONN's PhD program. It seems that my research interest perfectly matches my prospective advisor's, and I also like UCONN's campus and environment wholeheartedly. Anyway, I have a feeling that UCONN is the most perfect place for me. However, the funding decision hasn't been rendered yet, which makes me feel uneasy because my financial situation won't allow me to be enrolled without full assistantship. I want to ask UCONN phds here that, how many of you receive no funding or only partial funding from the department? I'll feel relieved if you tell me that full financial support is generally available to every incoming phds. Thanks!
