Great to know, thank you! I was actually looking into the Forum apartments, so now I will cross that off my list. All this information has been extremely useful! I was also wondering if anyone could provide information about parking at UC. I will be bringing my car, and I was wondering what the permit situation is like? When it gets cold out its going to be a battle for me to get to campus (being from Southern California), let alone walk all the way there. Is parking difficult to find and are permits ridiculous expensive?

So I'm thinking I want to live in the Gaslight district of Clifton...Does anyone have any other good apartment complexes they have heard of? Especially ones with a good fitness center? I'm definitely going to look into the Gerdsen Apartments, but I was just wondering if there were other good ones as well? I'm heading out there in September from San Diego and I won't get a chance to visit and apartment hunt before I start orientation. Any and all information is greatly appreciated, and this thread has already been more than helpful for someone like me who is moving across the country!

Hi Arthur1, I got into Michigan State but I opted to go to University of Cinncinnati since they offered me a scholarship. MSU is supposed to be making aid decisions this week the director told me, but I have to accept U Cinn's offer by Friday, so I just mailed in my acceptance today. Best of luck at MSU, the program looks really great, I was really tempted to go there! And yeah, the senioritis is hitting me pretty badly as well, I can't wait for it to be September and focus on CJ too! -Gabby

I'm applying just for my MA/MS straight out of undergrad. So far, I've gotten into U Cinn and San Diego State (I go to school out here as well). I didn't get into the program at U of Maryland, I heard back February 1st. But I'm also applying to Michigan State, UC Irvine, CSU Long Beach, CSU Fresno, SUNY at Albany, U of Missouri at St. Louis, Florida State U, ASU and Georgia State U. Anyone else looking into those schools?
