hi charmquark, You have a very strong background, and I wish you will be admitted to HGSE, and soon end up the waiting torture. . I have been worrying about my GRE as well, because my AW is even worse (Verbal 630 and Quan800 are O.K.) Although English is not my first language, I still feel it is a big disadvantage to my application. I hope the Admission officers would care more about the research background, working experience, and publications.

Hi rhonechica, Congrats! I totally agree with you that BC has the warm and helpful staff, and faculty there are genuine as well! Lynch school does provide a great academic environment, and anyone admitted into it is lucky! I applied to Higher Ed, and I had an interview as well, waiting for the final decision now.

To mochalatte: You have already been admitted to TC for 2009 Fall? May I know when you received their notification? I have not heard anything about whether I am admitted to TC or not. I thought they would release all admission results in the middle of March, won't they? Anyway, congrats to your admission! I am very happy for you! I just wish this fellowship application letter from TC is a good sign, maybe they have accepted me too but just have not updated the website? Who knows, I am always very positive! This letter brightens my day!

Hey mochalatte, yeah, I am going to apply! May I know whether you are applying for Ph.D or Master? I am applying for the master of education program. I just wonder whether TC sent out the letter to every applicant, or just to those who might get the admission? how do you think, Mochalatte?

I applied to Boston College. Still having nothing new so far. The e-mail from the department says that my file is in review. Who knows normally when Boston College will notify us (Ph.D program)? Does Anybody hear anything from TC yet? let's cross our fingers!
