hey guys, sorry to bring the bad news, but i'm pretty sure they're done accepting people. i'm an undergrad in the lit department here and one of my profs. mentioned having read a bunch of applications - she also said prospective students are coming soon to visit (which is why she's too busy too meet with me about my thesis.. great..) i have no clue if they have a wait list though.. good luck to you all!

yeah, NYU called accepted students about three weeks ago and sent official letters a little later. i am sorry if this is bad news...

to sunbabygirl - sorry if this is bad news, i'm also waiting to hear back from other schools so i can feel the pain... NYU called all of the admits for complit over two weeks ago. maybe they passed your application to the slavics department?

still waiting as well... i checked the website as well but nothing changed (where in the website are we supposed to find the notification anyway?) i'm starting to feel pessimistic.. but don't quite have the courage to give the a call yet.. keep posting updates!

i had a phone interview two weeks ago, and got an acceptance email last thursday. hope this helps..

they interviewed finalists two weeks ago, and sent out acceptances by email by last friday. i am sorry if this is bad news for you - but maybe there is a wait list? good luck!
