News from Tulane,
They have made some offers but others are coming certainly. There will be more offers made. All I want to do is get all the chances off of the table so that I can make the best choice for my future.
To all the schools out there, all of them. When a person spends the time and effort to build a strong GPA, and expends the effort to bring in a competitive GRE score, and then goes through the process and expense of applying to a school; it is only appropriate and a matter of professional ethics to respond. A stamp is cheap compared to the price of the application. If that is too much of financial burden then a phone call or a short impersonal email will suffice. The University of Florida, Chapel Hill, and Virginia were professional enough to let me know that I was rejected in a short time. No harm no foul. I didn't make the cut. UTEP and a few other schools were kind enough to let me know that I was accepted in relatively short order.
I understand if a school got a late start on the selection process. Responding to an email or a phone call would be just polite.
