  1. Thanks. Leaning towards Eliot but still thinking. You seem to be from Eliot. or atleast know alot about it, so do you have any idea how the evening classes with the interning in the day works out?
  2. Was referring to the MA International Relations program in the Department of Politics. Does anyone know anything about that?? Agree that Elliot seems to be the more established University but seems to send most its grads into the Fed govt. Im an international student so that isnt really an option. Hence the problem.
  3. Thanks! Thats what i thought. But Elliot grads seem to end up on the fed govt. As an international student thats not an option for me. Also is it normal to have primarily evening classes? Cause thats what Elliot seems to have as it wants it students interning during the day. Something else i cant do as an international student (not allowed to work more than 20 hours a week) Wasnt aware that NYU was more theory based. Their website isnt half as informative!
  4. Admitted into this program and Elliots MA international Affairs. Not sure what to pick. What NYC but Elliot seems to be better!
  5. Have a similar problem. Got into both NYU and the Elliot School for International Relations. Didnt know about the global affairs program at NYU at the time. The thing is I want NYU because of the city and because it seems to be a better University but Elliot seems to have a better program? Confused about which to pick. Also trying to decide the relative merits of the UK vs the US. Is essex meant to be good for Intenrational Relations? Still hoping my wait lists come through. Either Columbia or Hopkins would be amazing!
  6. Got waitlisted SAIS, SIPA and Elliot so far. Haven't heard back from Fletcher yet. Want SAIS the most but have no experience and only fifteen years of education. (I'm an international student). Does anyone know whether sending additional recommendations or essays would help?
  7. Got waitlisted. I know SIPA says that sending additional essays and letters is purposeless as they are not read but many posts do advise sending something. Does anyone know anything more about this?
