Hello, Congrats everyone! I thought about getting another Masters but its not conducive to my work schedule or beneficial for my career in Education. Putting off getting a doctorate to pursue funding may or may not be a good idea because although we are all savy its still a matter of whats available and the demand(and everyone needs money!. Check out the normal scholarship sites (I won some during my Masters) www.fastweb.com; www.scholarship.com Whatever I can't pay out of pocket, I'm not opposed to federal and private loans. I am looking at them through my credit union because they have the best rates. (Probably a better idea than regular banks if you don't qualify for federal aid)

I was excited to find out on Wednesday I was accepted into an Ed.d program at Columbia but I got my award letter and it has changed everything. I think I'm going to run out of unsub/sub loans my second or last year, does anybody know about scholarships or additional funding at TC? Do they normally give finanicial aid preference for continuing students who are needs based for doctoral programs? Any insight is appreciated!

I checked the website under my application and there was no messages. AEGIS program was the only one I applied to as well and I will probably due the same thing next year if I don't get in. UPENN has a good program as well.

I'm sorry Megan, did you apply to other school? How did you find out?

I just called and we will get no decisions this week. Admissions representative said we hope to have them out by the end of next week.

Anybody hear anthing yet for AEGIS or Adult education doctorate students? I'm still waiting...

I applied to the Ed.D. in Adult Education program at TC and was told some departments are behind a week. Were suppose to hear feedback by the end of this week. Good luck!

Columbia University-TC. Another posting said late next week for the Organzational Leadership department decisions. With so many bright minds on this site alone, I'm sure we could think of a less stressed solution to applying to colleges!!

Applied to the AEGIS and the Ed.D. in Adult Education. Did anybody hear anything yet because I'm getting anxious! I called TC a few weeks ago and they said we will have decisions by March 15th and that has come and gone. I also got the same information during the interivew but don't know whats going on? Is that a good or bad sign?

By far, waiting for application decisions from schools are the most agonzing things someone could go through. Has anyone heard anything about Ed.D. programs at Columbia TC? specifically the AEGIS or Ed.D. in Adult Education?
