Need some hope right now...has anyone EVER heard of someone actually getting into RISD painting without an interview?

Also got the two rejections, as did my boyfriend..pfft

had written them to check my missing recommendations

So weird. So frustrating

So just wanted to say that VCU lost recommendations from 2 of my professors that I am certain were submitted. What a nightmare, I hope they will still look at my application.

Just wanted to pass on the word, heard some news: all painting or multidisciplinary Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts: Accepted UC Berkeley: Rejected Waiting: UPenn, VCU, UNC, RISD, Rutgers, MICA (Hoffberger, Mount Royal) Good luck everyone, and patience be with us while we wait for more news

How did you hear you were waitlisted for UNM?

Has anyone heard anything from UNC for Painting? I asked this awhile back, but I have not heard anything or seen anyone mention it on this forum. Thanks everyone!

I've spent some time in Chapel Hill and loved it, but no, I haven't had a chance to visit the program.

Just got on and decided to join the conversation. Applying for MFA Painting, Here's my list: Applied: MICA (Hoffberger & Mt. Royal), UNC Chapel Hill, RISD, Berkeley, UPenn, Rutgers, PAFA, VCU Does anyone have any idea when UNC typically gives interviews, they are my top choice right now. Good Luck Everyone!

Has anyone one heard from RISD painting? I haven't been rejected yet, do I have a chance?

Hello, new to the site. Can anyone tell me if I should hold out hope for RISD painting, since I haven't received a rejection yet? I know they are supposed to interview, and that one person apparently has been contacted to do so for painting, but I wonder if I still might be in the running. Thanks!
