I did, and it wasn't awkward at all. Chuck Pringle replied the same day and awarded me additional aid.
BTW, if anyone else was curious like I was, there is no deposit due by the April 15 decision deadline.
Does anyone know if the open house on April 6th is only two hours (10 am - 12 pm) as originally posted on the website (which had the date listed as TBA) or if it is longer? http://www.sppsr.ucla.edu/dept.cfm?d=ps ... nhouse.cfm
I would like to hear what people have to say about American MPP as well. I think American may be my best chance of doing the joint MPP/JD program, but I am not sure how/if SPA compares to some of the other higher ranked MPPs I have been accepted to.
I just discovered that there is an Admitted Students Day on April 2nd (from the Events Calendar on the SPA website), however I have not heard anything about this day otherwise in my acceptance materials or elsewhere.
Yeah, I guess it forces you to choose which schools you are most interested in.. which I'm having a hard time doing between those three(Ford, GPPI, & Duke). Why is GPPI your default?
Anyone else having to choose between attending the first day of Spring Preview and the GPPI open house on April 3rd? I don't know what to do. I've heard that the 2nd day of Spring Preview is not nearly as informative as the 1st day, but I don't want to miss GPPI's open house either.. Why do they have to be on the same day? (I'm not attending GPPI's open house on 3/27 because Duke's is that day)
This is a relief. I didn't realize that they had postponed announcing the scholarship decisions. I only was given two days notice to write the short statement, so I thought maybe I blew it with the statement. Im glad there's still a chance!
