Has anyone gotten their new student packet and financial aid info yet? Also- who will be at the Open House on Friday? I'll be there for Arts in Education! Congrats everyone!
  2. I'm EdM in Arts in Ed also! I applied to the Policy program with lots of arts background. They moved me because they said it was a better fit. OMG I can't believe it!
  3. What do you all have to say about American MPP? Thanks!
  4. Yay UCLA! I did my undergrad there. There aren't really many hotels near by. There's the oncampus hotel that was mentioned above, and there is a W Hotel in Westwood. Other than that, your best bet is somewhere in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, or somewhere around there. Cabs are expensive and hard to find- better off renting a car. You'll need it anyway to get around LA. Much cheaper than the Super Shuttle! Let me know if you have any other questions.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm new here, so I hope this hasn't been asked and answered. It's come down to American MPP (Social Policy concentration), Vanderbilt MPP (Education Policy- actually in the school of ed) and GWU (MEd- Ed Policy). Still waiting to hear from Harvard MEd (Ed Policy) and Gtown (MPP) but I'm beginning to feel like they are long shots. What are the strengths and weaknesses of each program? Any one have personal experience with them? On paper it seems like the Vanderbilt program is the best (#2 school/#4 program) but I don't know if I can pass up the opportunity to live in DC. Thanks! x-posted in Government Affairs.
