No worries...I guess my question is not as relevant or timely at this point, since we don't know the main thing yet (whether we're in or not)...but I'm just dealing with this wait my own way and starting to make some calculations for myself. For me personally, an accept without financial aid is not gonna do any good unfortunately. But I know everyone's situation is different, so good luck to each of you according to your own expectations!

Does anyone know from previous years (or any other sources) about how many full fellowships does Harris offer anually?

I currently live in Chicago, and I think it's an excellent "global city" to come for a master's program - there are a lot of good schools here, and students/young professionals everywhere. Did you get any funding from CIR? For most of us, it gets down to money, so if the one-year debt from CIR Chicago is less than two-year (with partial funding) from the other two, I believe you have your answer. The final result is the same: a Master's degree, so why not go for the shorter way there? Btw, when did you get your funding decision from GSPIA? Was it at the same time with admission decision or more recently? Good luck to you!

Did anyone who applied to the joint MPA/IR got a full graduate assistanship? Is there any reasonable indication that Maxwell, or any other school for that matter, redistribute financial aid after some of the initial awards have been declined? Just wondering...the game of waiting can make us come up with the most improbable scenarios, i guess

Has anyone heard back from GSPIA with funding decisions as of March 23rd, 2011?

Anyone heard back from GSPIA regarding funding yet? I saw on other threads students referencing "GSPIA with funding" as one of the options they were considering already...I was under the impression they are still working on those decisions and will be sending them out late this week or the next one. If anyone heard from them already, please speak up

I am an international student and have not yet received that decision email from Harris...still waiting, but at this point waiting is probably not a good position to be in.
