It's so scary to think of myself a year from now with so much debt.... Especially since there are so many people and scholars saying that MAs aren't really worth anything.... Are you planning on going to the program? Do you think it will be worth it in the end?

Can you tell me more about the Columbia program? Did you like it? Any regrets? (Any loans....? And if so, how are you paying them back?)

It seems like a lot of people got accepted to both programs but does anyone have an idea of exactly how many people got admitted? I don't really have a sense of how competitive these programs are.

Which school will you be going to?

I was accepted into Columbia's film studies MA program but with basically no funding (except for loans). I know there are scholarships out there but most are for $1000 or $5000. How are people dealing with tuition? It's hard to believe that so many people would be able to afford this.
