  1. Same here. The wait is driving me crazy.
  2. Has anyone heard anything back yet?
  3. I just got rejected too. Six down, three to go. Since the Div. School was my only religion application, I suppose this means goodbye to the religion forum. At least I can think about other things now. Good luck, everyone.
  4. Thanks for posting that, dogerdogtx. The glimmer of hope is now a little brighter.
  5. Sociology. All the programs I applied to are for sociology except U Chicago's Divinity School (ASR specialization). I have a background in anthropology and sociology (and everything I study has something to do with religion), so the Div. School is my dream program.
  6. Thanks for posting that, general_jr. I live in southern Florida, so who knows when mine will arrive, especially since the last batch went out today. I thought I'd at least know before spring break... Thankfully, I have my thesis to distract me until it arrives.
  7. I was interviewed by Zerubavel via phone on 02/21 and haven't heard anything so far. Congrats to your boyfriend.
  8. Chicago is mailing their decision letters (both accept and reject) today and Monday.
  9. Thanks for the info, studyordie. I'm just going to have to wait it out and stop obsessing. It's amazing to think that our futures are in the hands of admissions committees.
  10. While I was perusing through the accept/reject posts from U. Chicago Divinity School last year, I noticed a number of people commented on how UC Div. mainly recruits Ph.D. applicants from their own M.A. students (since they have to practically sell a kidney in order to pay for tuition and since they're already socialized to the program). Having traveled to UC last fall and met with the faculty in my specialization area (AASR) as well as the dean of students, I thought I had a decent chance of getting in. Since they only admit one or two students a year through AASR, and now that I know their preferences, I'm getting nervous. Can any of you who are currently in the M.A. program shed any light on this?
  11. The suspense is almost too much... I wish they would call or email if you're accepted.
