  1. yes, they're actually really good. They only give out need based financial aid but in my case they were extremely generous.. and when I visited and asked other students they said the same thing to me. from what i read it's supposed to be need blind so the try their best to make it affordable for anyone who gets in.
  2. I believe their acceptance rate is about 4%, 22 out of around 600 more or less depending on the year.. I was accepted, went to RISD for undergrad. I don't really think that matters though, they usually look for a diverse group so they ltake people coming from different types of places..
  3. just got an acceptance letter from yale painting/printamking this afternoon... i'm in florida though, so maybe if you're in the West coast or anywhere further away it might take a few more days.. good luck to everyone!
  4. what's up with Columbia taking forever to send rejection letters... has anyone else not heard anything from them yet?

  9. I just got my official rejection from UCLA through their website, CCA also sent me an acceptance email, did they say anything about funding to anyone who's been accepted there?
  10. did anybody hear from CCA for painting?
  11. about CCA, i am applying as painting/drawing. don't know much about their sculpture work or faculty though. I know they have one of the strongest textiles departments in the country. and i know a few people who go there right now whose work i really respect. you should visit them though!! are they not giving any funding?
  12. I was just visiting them this weekend, it seems they try to help out people they accept. I work with assemblage, mixed media.. but applied as a painter.. i didn't get to meet that many of the students , but the work i saw there seemed strong and the faculty really young and laid back. looks like a nice community.. good luck with your visit!
