I totally buy into this (also, can we sound the 'faculty' alarm, once again?). Honestly, I started irrationally taking rejections seriously for a long time, but in the past few weeks shifted to thanking my lucky stars every single day for the great news I've been given. It's been an enormous relief.

So I was just thinking a few minutes ago...damn, it would be really cool to get into Princeton after all these rejections. Did I just jinx it?

Also officially out at Cornell and Chicago. Bummer.

Congrats to Stanford! Absolutely my dream school, and even though it was obviously a long shot...still feeling pretty down that I didn't get the call. Barring unforeseen circumstances, looks like my decision will be pretty easy.

Congrats to all the admits today, especially the UCSD ones (I'm so jealous...amazing program guys)! I'm bummed I didn't hear anything today from anywhere, but there's always next week!
