The graduate secretary e-mailed me yesterday (after I emailed her weeks ago), and said she emailed the last of them Wednesday. I got mine today, unfortunately

Just accepted at Illinois! After a lot of setbacks, it's nice to finally feel...accepted ha. A little scared/bummed/inconvenient that the program starts in June though.

To the person who just posted about UW - Madison...Who did you call and what did you ask them? Did they provide anymore information? At least we know they must be coming now.

Nope. According to last year they e-mailed acceptances/wait listing, and mailed rejections... When did you hear from Madison?

Congrats!! I applied there too, but I did not receive an e-mail and my application is still the same... I wonder how they're notifying. If only schools sent out all notifications at once haha. That would be too much to ask though.

I personally don't think it's the best of signs that we haven't heard yet, but who knows. I'm just confused as to why they would send out letters/e-mails, regardless of status, at different times. But yes, I'll keep you updated and good luck!!

Yeah, Madison sent out e-mails to a few people I know of the first week in Feb, then a week later some people received letters. One of my professors said 2 weeks ago we were going to receive letters THAT week, and I have yet to get anything. I've been going crazy and e-mailed the graduate secretary...no reply yet. Ugh!

Sent my supplementary app! Does anyone know what protocol is (regardless of what country) as far as contacting them to see if the materials have been received? Or do you think they would contact us?

I doubt it's a mistake, and congrats! Just weird that they would let some know and not everybody at once. But a few schools have been doing that this year I guess.

Has anyone heard back from UNC? There's someone who posted here and on the results survey that they were accepted.

Yeah, it seems like a generic e-mail sent to everyone who has expressed interest in the program. I'm still tempted to reply and ask though.

Did anyone else just receive an email from Minnesota about an open house? ... does this mean we've been accepted or have they sent it to everyone?

I have a friend who is ETAing in Germany right now, and she said not to translate it, because PAD receives a copy of our original application. But that being said, I'm assuming the information in the essays will all be similar.

just found out one of my schools CALLS if you're accepted. so now i'll be checking my e-mail, mail, and phone obsessively for the next 3 months.

I submitted my CSDCAS application December 13. It was verified sometime between Dec. 29-January 4th. When I called they had absolutely no sympathy...so it's just, unfortunately, a matter of time.

CSDCAS Applicants - apply asap! If you look in their FAQ section it says to submit to them 2-4 weeks before the due date, because it takes them that long to process the application (yes, completely ridiculous and makes no sense). I e-mailed one of the schools on the list, and they said they would allow me to e-mail an updated transcript to add to my files. So submit now! Good luck!
