Your university should be able to provide you with a certificate of completion of studies while you are still waiting for the degree diploma. If not, a certificate that states when you are expecting to complete it.

My intended area of research in grad school is interdisciplinary. The school which I plan to join has many compulsory courses , but all of them are very easy. I was wondering will the department allow me to take courses from other department which are relevant to my research work or is there any restriction on the courses which grad students can take?
