So I'll be moving to the midwest in September! But I don't know if I can call soda "pop"...I just don't know.

I have fallen in love...with a program. With the program, the people, the campus, the town. Everything about this place is just perfect.

Just got an email that my paper proposal was accepted!

Why YES I'm still working on my writing sample the day before the deadline. Why did I expect anything different from myself?

Someone literally emailed me an SOP that was so shitty, I had to wipe it off with TP before trying to read it.

grading is the worst. the worst.

Just sent the "YOU WILL HAVE TO WRITE ME 12 RECOMMENDATIONS" email and now I'll never fall asleep. It took me an hour to even press send. I have no fingernails.

Went to my first real conference today! It was a fabulous experience, and went super well! I've fallen in love with academia all over again (as if it was ever possible to fall out of love with it)!

I've installed Dropbox, Evernote and Zotero! They are great!
