I withdrew my application from Wayne State today. Their website made it very easy, and given my acceptances so far I think I would be unlikely to attend if accepted. I'd rather take myself out of the running now to make it easier on the adcom. Good luck to anyone waiting to hear from them.

Congrats on the official word, Datatape! Ha! You rock! Likewise, my writing sample to a TON of schools, including Buffalo, has a random paragraph indented way over and with a giant "1." before it. No idea how it happened, but my decision to not look at it after submitting caused it to go to at least 6 or 7 schools like this before I noticed. I'm glad Buffalo is willing to overlook the fact that we need editors. Today looks like a terrible massacre over on the results board. None of my schools, but condolences to those affected.

I call tomorrow for Brown, Purdue, and Missouri.

Yeah, who knows what they're up to? Personal e-mails or calls to the accepted seems likely... and that may have already happened. Sometimes nobody from gradcafe gets in... I'd say it's more likely coming very soon, though. I like #4, too.

NYU doesn't accept many into the PhD. A lot of consolation MA notifications will eventually go out...

I logged in it is the first thing I see, under a note about status. You might need to click the arrow to open it. It's possible it is different for Lit applicants, though.
