I have absolutely no idea, but congratulations on being invited to apply! That's certainly good news. -

I withdrew my application from Wayne State today. Their website made it very easy, and given my acceptances so far I think I would be unlikely to attend if accepted. I'd rather take myself out of the running now to make it easier on the adcom. Good luck to anyone waiting to hear from them. -

Congrats on the official word, Datatape! Ha! You rock! Likewise, my writing sample to a TON of schools, including Buffalo, has a random paragraph indented way over and with a giant "1." before it. No idea how it happened, but my decision to not look at it after submitting caused it to go to at least 6 or 7 schools like this before I noticed. I'm glad Buffalo is willing to overlook the fact that we need editors. Today looks like a terrible massacre over on the results board. None of my schools, but condolences to those affected. -

No. You log in here: https://applicants.siss.duke.edu If you don't have an account for that, there are instructions and links to get one. -
What are you reading?
asleepawake replied to bluecheese's topic in Literature, and Rhetoric and Composition
Haha Perks isn't that bad... but it definitely needs to be read at age 14-16 and then never needs to be read again. I absolutely indulged in the movie version last week, and I have NO REGRETS........ -

No, but I'm not holding my breath. Assume this: All of us just got rejected. Any other news will now be twice as good, and official rejections will be only half as bad. You're welcome. -

Congrats big10champ! Amazing! It is now hitting me how much I appreciate my early acceptance... as all of my reach schools quietly implicitly reject me. I knew that I did, but now it is extremely clear. It makes this much easier. -

Just downloaded the complete works of Jack London for kindle... It's just over 218,000 pages. BRB. Kindle pages are extra-short, though. -

I'm assuming that NYU is done with phd admits and that it's a no-go for me. I'd love to be proved wrong, though! -

Yeah, who knows what they're up to? Personal e-mails or calls to the accepted seems likely... and that may have already happened. Sometimes nobody from gradcafe gets in... I'd say it's more likely coming very soon, though. I like #4, too. -

I logged in it is the first thing I see, under a note about status. You might need to click the arrow to open it. It's possible it is different for Lit applicants, though.
