I too am SO tired. If only I could could know once and for all my status with Duke. Why oh WHY do waitlists have to exist??? Are any Duke admits planning on going elsewhere??? I want to go there so bad! I feel a lil desperate. Also, what are people's thoughts on Cornell for American art? I'm just curious what the general opinion is.

Hi! Where can I find a definitive list of rankings for graduate art history programs? Could someone tell me what 'tier' Boston U is for American art? Is BU a respected school?

So in hopes that someone out there happens to be a Dir PLUS Loan expert, I had a question: As it turns out, I borrowed too much money. I'm a first-year grad student and I JUST started school. I found out that I wouldn't be charged full-time tuition, but rather part-time tuition. So the PLUS loan I took out was totally unnecessary (which I guess is good)! Can I "give" that money back/cancel the loan? For obvious reasons, I'd rather not hold on to that money; I really don't want to borrow any more than what I need.

Oh well that's nice to hear re: Harvard. I'm glad they haven't sent out the majority of decisions. I realize this has been talked about before, but don't you have a love-hate relationship with this site? It's...sort of the worse thing ever to happen to me b/c I'm pretty sure I spend 75% of my day on it (and that's a weekday). Anyway, thanks for the kind words!

Hey All, Does anyone have insight as to why I haven't heard from Yale or Harvard despite the fact (according to the results page and this thread) they've apparently already sent out decisions? I'm assuming I wasn't accepted by either school, but what I don't understand is why I haven't gotten a rejection yet. Thoughts, anyone, anyone? I hate not having closure because it allows a tiny tiny part of me to keep hope alive. Is it just that these schools aren't thorough with notifying everyone? Anyway, I'm still hopeful for BU and Tufts (masters). Anyone waiting to hear from those schools?
