Anybody else get an email from Drapers MA program? I guess they're offering 30% fellowships for this fall. Whats up with this program? Thoughts?

American studies. They told me they already sent out some acceptances but will send out more soon.

Program admin emailed me this morning -- decisions will be made by end of Feb. I agree those stats are frightening GOOD LUCK!

Hey, I've applied and have not heard back.

Something a POI of mine mentioned to me that often goes overlooked by applicants: admissions committee are constantly changing. you may have strong gpa or gre score, but it all boils down to how you fit with what the department is looking for. When a denial comes my way I'll just remind myself that I wasn't "rejected", but just didn't fit in with the programs interest. STAY POSITIVE, MY PEOPLES!

i heard last friday (feb 18 via email). My status on the website says "Awaiting Final Decision" .. but I think we shouldn't expect any word until end of Feb.

I was also waitlisted at U Minn AMST and that I'm "quite high on the waiting list". Don't know what that means, but sounds like great news.
