For those of us who haven't gotten a response, is your status still "Submitted"?

Do you mean for a LCSW? I believe you will have a lot of time further down the line, especially when you must fullfill a required # of supervised hours prior to taking the exam.

On the brighter side, its always March!

I think last year acceptances were stil notified in April so for the rest of us, be hopeful!

I chose CYF too, but I do not mind being placed in the nonprofit sector/management. I'm planning on going more of research focused, rather than clinical. KMSW, maybe your right. There doesn't seem to be much UCLA applicants to the MSW program this year, at least not so much here.

I remember getting an email saying they received my GRE scores too.. but I'm not sure if I remember about the transcript. I feel like I didn't.

I'm guilty of checking the old posts too haha. I submitted my application December 15, just in time for the fellowship deadline. I had no idea they had a prompt I had to respond to but all went well. I am crossing my fingers it is the next 2 weeks too. Of your choices, are you highly considering UCLA?

Hi KMSW, I'm glad you started the thread! I felt like I was checking very topic just to see if anyone got into UCLA, even CSU's replied early, come on! I think we should be hearing from UCLA in the next two weeks? When did you turn in your application? I was told that the GRE is not really significant either so I don't think we have to really worry about that.

Ditto to this post! If only February will past quick and we can move on to March. Can we get a good night rest?!

I am also waiting on UCLA. I believe last year's responses weren't until late February/early March.

I think you are fine too.. Just try and make sure you submit before the deadline in case you run into any problems!

I guess we're all on the MSW track. My interest in the MSW program is within policy analysis too. I'm actually hesitating to apply to Long Beach for the same reason that it doesn't have the curriculum I'm targeting towards. Have you looked into the CalSWEC program offered at Long Beach? I know that they will pay for your education for two years, if you give them 2 years in DFCS. It is clinical work, but it might be something to look at.

Hi, my question is to all those who applied for a MSW program with below a 3.0 cumulative. I know for some programs, like UCLA's requirement, requires a 3.0 GPA in the last 90 units. Has anyone ever applied to a MSW program with below a 3.0 cumulative GPA, but higher than 3.0 GPA in the last 90 units?
