  1. I'm gonna be going to GSPIA starting in the Fall and there are PLENTY of housing options in the area... I would not let it deter you.
  2. Hey, I'm starting up at GSPIA in the Fall and it's required to take two. You can get out of one of them from undergrad work though.
  3. agreed... you should be looking at schools like gwu, pitt, denver, etc.
  4. I'll be at Pitt GSPIA for Security and Intel Studies
  5. Yeah, I have those papers... but added up it doesn't seem right.
  6. Hey I was wondering if anyone could lay out the price of American SIS for a year... their website is kind of cryptic about it.
  7. Yeah we are looking at the exact same programs... I think I am leaning toward Pitt also since its a pure security studies program and the courses just look more interesting to me in that regard. Are you going to the admitted students day on Friday?
  8. What program at Pitt and AU? I am in the same boat as you for the most part... except still waiting on a funding thing from Pitt... plus I am from PA which makes it even cheaper. Personally I am leaning towards Pitt for security studies.
  9. I may be going to the one in DC on the 13th... don't know if I am choosing Pitt or AU yet though.
  10. Yes, Pitt is May 1st! I wish all schools were that nice.
  11. Yeah I'm going to Pitt's for sure dont know about Americans. You have to make a decision by April 15 so that really doesn't leave much time!
  12. Got an email saying I may not get Pitt GSPIA money info until April 10ish. Problem with that... I have to decide on American SIS and Pitt by the 15th. Not cool.
  13. So here is my dilemma. I have been admitted to Pitt GSPIA and American SIS. Pitt is for Security and Intel Studies and American is for International Politics. At AU I would be concentrating in Int Security. My original inkling would be to go Pitt since it is a pure security program, but then again SIS is a top 10 school of IR. What to do?
  14. The wait until tomorrow for GWU Elliott is killing me, why can't they just post it now??
  15. So... I have been admitted into Pitt for Security Policy and AU SIS for International Politics. My original idea was to go ahead and do Int Politics and SIS with a concentration in Int Security which is what I was admitted for. What I am quickly realizing though is that I should be in the US Foreign Policy track at SIS. I have also applied to GWU for Security Policy Studies which is the program I would attend if admitted. Assuming AU and Pitt are my only options, do you guys think they would let me switch to the other program, even if it were after a semester?

  18. I think for me its going to come down to security studies at either Pitt or GWU. Its tough because I am a PA resident and that cuts a lot of costs, plus I am much more likely to get funding from them I think.
  19. I just got it this morning at about 10, had a link to go to their website to see the decision
  20. Hey all, was just accepted into GSPIA Security and Intel Studies program and was wondering if anyone else was looking at it to get a little chat going about it.
  21. Got into Pitt's GSPIA program in Security and Intel Studies this morning... funding decision to come later this month. Still waiting on GWU, but Pitt will be tough to pass up with the in state price!
  22. Congrats on the SIS acceptance, I'm waiting on GWU also and SIS still.
  23. yeah, GWU had a record number of apps... let's just hope they accept a few more than usual!
  24. I heard from GWU that they hope to send out decisions by the end of next week so hopefully we are all getting good news in the near future.
