Hi! I got into Hunter College for School of Education starting in the spring semester. I'll be working toward an MsEd. in Childhood and Special Education dual certificate. Anyone also got in and starting in the Spring? LMK Thanks!

Hi guys, I am strongly considering applying to NYU and Teachers College as well as Hunter College for Childhood Education/Special Education at the childhood level (dual). I understand that all programs are very reputable, however I am having a very tough time deciding on whether or not I want to have the burden of loans when I know I can get a cheaper education at a State school. I graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Human Development and I want to be sure that I give myself the best possible education. My question is, for all of the loans (40K+) do you think its worth it to enroll at an NYU or a Columbia? to then become a teacher (part of me says yes - because of the reputation and name and part of my says no - because of the financial risk). Your feedback will really help me! Thanks!
