I think TMP etc. were being supportive. I know I was being supportive when I suggested that you didn't contact POIs in the middle of selections. There's a difference between being supportive and being sycophantic. However, I hope it doesn't hurt your chances

I definitely wouldn't call. i don't even know their phone numbers. And I don't want to know. Can you imagine how awful it would be if they angrily dismissed/rejected/brushed you aside by phone? Or worse, if they were on the fence about you and your irritating phone call pushed you from the fence to the thorn filled ditch?

I say most of us hear nothing this week. Looking at last year, the likelihood for many schools is that next week is the big one. Some of the lucky ones may hear from POIs. But I say this is going to be the most agonizing, poisonous week yet.
