  1. Official Rejection from Weill Cornell. Have to say, Rockefeller's generic email sounds a lot nicer: I regret to inform you, that the Admissions Committee has not recommended the acceptance of your application for admission. I am sure you understand that our programs receive many more applicants than we can hope to place. We wish you the best of luck in the future.
  2. It does seem to be a run of the mill reply. But hey, it isn't over till it's over, so good luck! Hopefully we hear something soon.
  3. @abbhinay: Not sure. Did you try contacting the BPH program directly? They're usually pretty quick to answer.
  4. Ah, finally another person who applied to the same program. Hi! The results section show 4 or 5 people who received interview invites in mid-december. I think the interview date is Jan 26-27, so at this point, I'm assuming the worst. On the plus side, I finally managed to call the department a week ago, and was told that they were still reviewing apps, and hadn't made a final decision on interview invites. Quite honestly, I'm not sure what to make of it.
  5. Hi! I did the same for the Microbiology and Immunology program. I did not and still haven't gotten a confirmation or a tracking number to check the status of my application , but a POI did contact me last week with an interview invite. So I'm guessing they have an awful lot of apps to go through and will get back to you soon. Hope that helps! Also, a question to anyone who received a call from Harvard's BPH program- may I know what track it was from? Although if there is only one recruitment weekend, I doubt I'll hear back now.
  6. Wow, lots of interviews both here, and in the results page. Makes me nervous! Congrats to all you guys!
  7. Yep. Definitely go to his office, and take a look if you can. December is the time for grant deadlines, finals, reviews, etc. It's highly possible that your prof himself is just frazzled.
  8. I think it's up to the school. They should be able to see all your scores.
  9. Woohoo! You're on a roll here. Congrats, again!
  10. Thanks! I submitted mine on the 30th, and still no response apart from one generic email from gsas thanking me for my application. Was the application ID emailed to you by the department? Edit: Yeah, just emailed the admissions department. Thanks!
  11. Congratulations! Question if you applied to Columbia: Did any of you get a tracking number for application status? My email just said thank you for applying, and I have a receipt of payment O.O.
  12. 25 this week, and I know exactly what I want for my birthday .
