5 rejections in a day. NU, UPenn, Yale, Cornell, Penn State (mail). it couldnt be worse than this

Not cool at all. We pay for the application fee. At least they should have sent us an email.

For the NU applicant, rejection is on the website. Not on GATS, but the at the applyyourself.

Hi, I am on a waitlist and am invited for the visitation weekend. I am pretty high on the waitilist according to the DGS and the school is my top choice. DO you guys have any advice for me on what to do during the visitation?

I also just called them, and the grad coordinator said the same thing. I wonder what this means

I tried to call the grad coordinator but no one pick up the phone. Has anyone tried to call? Northwestern is certainly driving us crazy

Abureesh, I see a comparativist being rejected by northwestern. I really cant focus now doing other stuff. This is driving me crazy.

I am interested in democratic transition/consolidation, voting behavior and comparative political economy in developing countries (esp. new democracies). I really like jeff winters and Andrew Roberts. I apply to UVA too and have not heard anything. I guess we should wait till the end of next week before we can really cross it out.

Lets keep our fingers crossed. I will check the website again on Monday, if nothing changed, I will call them and ask.

What is your subfield Abu Reesh? I am in Comparative. So far, I have only seen people in theory and IR that are rejected.
